Hi,

I'm very interested too in this feature because I consider sidedrawer as a context menu so the user open it, select something and automatically it closes to reflect change on the main view.

It woule be great if it's possible to test your internal build with this feature enabled.

 Thank you in advance

Alessandro

Hi Alessandro,

You can download the internal build from your account -> Products & Subscriptions -> UI for Windows Universal -> Download installer and other resources -> find UI for Windows Universal and choose Latest internal builds.
However, we will release the official Q1 2015 SP1 this week, so my advice is to stick with the official version which is more stable and includes additional fixes and features.

Please, let me know should you have any other questions.

Hello,

I am currently testing xamarin controls with trial version and I am interested in this feature as I would use it as a context menu. I cannot find it in the trial version, is it out yet in the full version?

Thank you for your answer in advance it would help a lot to decide if the product is useful enough for my project.

Hello Balázs,

Thank you for contacting us.

The RadSideDrawer control for Xamarin Forms has a property IsOpen that can be used to programmatically open/close the drawer. It also provides commands and events related to opening and closing.

I hope this helps. Please, let us know if you have any other questions.
