    Hello Christine,

In general, we are supporting the latest official Kendo UI version, and recommend upgrading, so that all current new widgets, features, API options, methods, and events, and fixes, are available.

Please check out the following online demos that show different parent-child Grid implementations:

    http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/grid/detailtemplate

    http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/grid/hierarchy

    I hope this helps.

On a side note, if you are using UI for ASP.NET for MVC (and not Kendo UI for jQuery), the same examples are available for MVC as well, and the following article from our documentation can also prove useful:

    http://docs.telerik.com/aspnet-mvc/helpers/grid/templating/client-detail-template#client-detail-templates

If this is the case, please use the respective forums and product types too, as this will facilitate a tidier support history of your account and better support service. Thank you in advance.

    I see sir.

2013 is the current version being used by the client.

I'm not sure if they will acquire an upgrade in order to facilitate their request.

But then, thank you for your effort sir.

I'll try the demo version to add familiarity to the toolkit.
