I am trying to open the Excel file using the Open button in the spreadsheet widget. One of the file sheets contains 59 columns. After loading the file content the corresponded spreadsheet sheet shows only 50 columns.

Hi,

Prior to the 2016.R1 release the sheet size was fixed via configuration. The default number of columns is 50 and the default number of rows is 200.
If the imported file contains more than the configured rows or columns they will be cut off. This is consistent with what you describe.

In newer versions, including the current one, the sheets will be resized to fit the content of the loaded file.
All columns are loaded successfully in the demo. See the updated file with 59 columns.

To summarize, in older versions you need to increase the sheet size so it fits the anticipated data.
No further action is needed in the current version. All columns should display regardless of configuration.
