Hi Surya,

Could you please share with us what kind of data will be presented in your application? Do you plan to use flat of hierarchy view? I would kindly ask you to provide me with additional details about your scenario. This will allow us to understand the exact behavior and business logic you are after. Hence we will be able to assist you further.

Thank you for your cooperation. I am looking forward to your response.

All the best,

Hi  Julian Benkov,

 Thanks for response.

I have rad multi-column drop down box , presently i am binding 176000 records ( this number may increase in future),for binding this data now its taking 2-4 secs loading time.

My requirement is, i don't want to bind this drop down on form load. When user type value in drop down ,then only i want to bind based on key in value ( Like load on demand in web application ).

Hello Surya,

Currently, this functionality is not supported by RadMultiColumnComboBox. We will consider implementing it in a future version if more people request the same. Currently, you can use the filtering operation to decrease the number of viewed items in the combobox popup. More information about this approach you can find in our online documentation.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,
