I am testing the window widget. I need to prepare some desktop like
application, so I want to ask you about the minimize event/option for
the window and as I see still don't have maximize event and the maximize
don't work for parent div/container like in RadWindow. I think minimize
option should look similar to telerik RadWindow behavior. Will this be
part of the official release? I don't think that this is a big deal
feature, but to be honest there is no a really good jquery window widget
on the market.

Yes, we are planning to add minimization feature for the official release. Could you please let me know what do you mean by "the maximize don't work for parent div/container like in RadWindow"?

Thanks a lot,
For the maximize behavior I think that currently it works like always for the whole page, but if I have for example
<div style='width:200px;height:200px'>
<kendo window>
</div>
the maximize event should resize the window only in the available area (parent div) - with width and height 200px not in the body.
Kind Regards,
Plamen

Hi Plamen,
Thank you for the feedback - now I understand what you mean. In general, we haven't planned such feature (that is similar to the RestrictionZone in RadWindow for ASP.NET AJAX), but you can log it in Kendo's uservoice so users can vote and comment it.
Best wishes,

Hi,
i am in middle of evaluating HTML5 frameworks.
I am testing the window widget. I need to prepare some desktop like application, so I want to ask you about the minimize event/option to the taskbar of the app.
i understand from the thread that it is going to be in official release. can you please let me know the roadmap of the framework.
thanks,

Hello Aditya,
The window widget supports minimize/maximize functionality as illustrated on this online demo. Feel free to make use of it in par with your preferences.
