Hi,
is there's a chance to get a working example of teleriks gridview in lightswtich as an extension rather that custom user control?
I tried to make it work (partly succeeded using custom user control but it is not fit to my project needs of elasticity).
how do i get it to work without moving to infragistics/componentone alternatives...
any help will be much appreciated. the telerik lightswitch examples are not very clear about this.
p.s.
this is a duplicate of http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/silverlight/vs-extensions/telerik-extensions-for-lightswitch.aspx
since there was no reply for over 72 Hrs.

Hello,
Vlad
the Telerik team
I'm afraid that we do not have any Lightswitch extensions and/or examples related to Lightswitch extensions. You can check this page for more info on how to integrate various Telerik Silverlight components with Lightswitch.
Kind regards,Vlad

I'm a bit sad to hear that.
I recommend you wouldn't advise people to look at you lightswitch extension page as it is very old and the structure of lightswitch has been change since you first published it (an update to this site might be extremely helpful).
I'm off to infragistics

Hi,
Vlad
the Telerik team
In my opinion Lightswitch is not much changed in Visual Studio 2012. If you want more info about how to add Telerik components with Visual Studio 2012 Lightswitch you can check also my blog post.

I'm partly agree with you about the change LS has gone through. what I meant was that telerik LS extensions site is no longer straightforward and you need to do a lot of tweaking in order to make things work.
My main problem is with the lack of extensions making samples (as opposed to custom controls).
regarding your post blog, it is a good blog but the result means using LS as a container and loose all the things that make it attractive (less code writing and simple UI design).
since you don't plan to make LS extensions I realize I am one of the few that look for such a thing :(
thank you anyway...

Hi,
RadControls for SIlverlight can be added in Lightswitch application as any regular Silverlight controls. I am afraid we have not introduced any additional extensions for integration with Lightswitch.

Didie
