I want to create a diagram sample app in Vue like https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/html5-diagram-sample-app, but I do not find any sample about drag and drop the item between controls
Thanks,
I'm getting a handful of these errors and it causes issues with automated testing/build pipelines.
Example:
Deprecation Warning: Using / for division outside of calc() is deprecated and will be removed in Dart Sass 2.0.0. Recommendation: math.div($drop-hint-arrow-size, 2) or calc($drop-hint-arrow-size / 2) More info and automated migrator: https://sass-lang.com/d/slash-div
I could fix them easily, but I'd rather leave the NPM packages as we received them. Are there plans to update the SCSS files for Kendo UI Vue to support the latest library expectations?
I'm looking at the official documentation for dragging and dropping TreeView elements here: https://www.telerik.com/kendo-vue-ui/components/treeview/api/TreeViewDragAnalyzer/
The drag hint icons in the example always show the cancel icon even when the drag and drop is valid and works.
The Angular example works as expected. It's only the Vue example that seems broken.
Hello,
i am currently evaluating kendo ui and i am in a struggle while implementing the following:
Since i have many resources and events i want to use server filtering.
The example from the link below works great for event filtering.
https://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/controls/scheduling/scheduler/how-to/filtering/server-filtering
My problem is i would need the resources also to load dynamically from a datasource(with start/end set parameters)
But since the resources seems to be loaded before the scheduler view seems to be ready i do not have the start/end variables.
Changing the resources after the scheduler is loaded and perform a scheduler.refresh does not work.
It is showing the changed resources only after an action on the scheduler (change view, click on today)
Do you have any hints for this?
Thank you and best regards, Alex
A number of Kendo components could do with better support for screen readers, including:
No doubt there are more than the above.
Effective screen reader accessibility is as much about what you skip as what you add. Where possible, audio prompts should be short and clear, and not produce excess noise.
On most Native Kendo Vue components the following classes are applied depending on the state:
'k-state-invalid' for instance adds a red border around the Kendo Input component:
In this example the red line isn't added to the html textarea:

Hello,
I'm building a form where a field may become optional depending on a check box. I've set some validator on the field, but if I check the checkbox, the validators remain active on the field. Is there a way to dynamically attribute validators to a field ?
I try to disable the field, but even with the field beeing disabled, the validators are still working.
Hi, I am just getting started with using the Kendo Vue components and am trying to implement a context menu. My application is using Vuejs 3 with typescript.
I have a version working with ContextMenu from the @progress/kendo-layout-vue-wrapper package. However, with this, I can't seem to access anything from an event handler argument. Example: function onMenuSelect(e) - I can't seem to access anything about e in my typescript/javascript.
In searching around for typescript types for this, I notice that there is a native kendo vue menu which requires Menu from @progress/kendo-vue-layout and Popup from @progress/kendo-vue-popup. Should I be using this instead? And with this, are there any examples for how to open the menu from rows in a table? I need my context menu to be dynamic based on which table row is triggering it.
I hope some of this question makes sense - I am totally new to using this. Thanks!
