Hi All,
I'm testing the Kendo UI Vue-wrappers and notice an issue with the masked text box. When just loading the page, the input looks fine. But after entering data and exiting the field, the borders go away. First I thought I was doing something wrong, but then I noticed that example page does the same thing:
https://www.telerik.com/kendo-vue-ui/components/inputs/maskedtextbox/
This behavior, does not exists, for example, in the Angular version:
https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/inputs/maskedtextbox/
is this a bug and if so, where can I report it?
Thanks!
Hi. I have one reactive object that holds the data for all of tabs in a tabstrip. I have dynamic fields in these tabs. For example, the selection of an autocomplete field in Tab A updates the data that is in a list box in Tab B. I'm not seeing the refresh of data when i navigate. The data is all loaded at once. How do I force a refresh of the tabs?
I've also tried using state management, but it's still not doing what I would like.
Hi
I want to bind a dropdown list in a grid using cell template.
While using state in a cell template I am getting error store state is undefined.
Cell template is something like below.
const cellPurchaseCategoryTemplate = Vue.extend({
props: {
field: String,
dataItem: Object,
format: String,
className: String,
columnIndex: Number,
columnsCount: Number,
rowType: String,
level: Number,
expanded: Boolean,
editor: String
},
computed: {
purchaseCategoryList(): Array<CategoryChildCodeData> {
if (this.purchaseCategories) {
return Utility.cloneObject(this.purchaseCategories);
}
},
...invoiceApprovalStoreHelpers.mapState(["purchaseCategories"])
},
template: `<td>
<cvc-autocomplete v-model="dataItem.category"
v-bind:data-source="purchaseCategoryList"
v-bind:name="assignFieldName(field, dataItem)"
v-validate="'required'"
data-vv-as="Purchase Category">
</cvc-autocomplete>
</td>`
});
export default cellPurchaseCategoryTemplate;
We are using the kendo-ui Dropdowntree control in our VueJS app.
If we have around 1100+ rows of data in our hierarchy, we find that the Browser screen freezes until the Dropdowntree control is finished populating.
Most of our hierarchies are much smaller and the control populates quickly as expected.
But we have 1135 rows in our hierarchy in one of our examples. The data is fetched from our API and returned to our Vuejs app, in a few seconds. But after the Vuejs load function finishes and the code is about to return to the UI, the screen freezes for about 10 seconds while the Dropdowntree control is populating. Nothing can be clicked while the screen is frozen.
How can we avoid the screen freezing while the Dropdowntree control is populating where the hierarchy rows are large?
I had this working and have tried to identify what change caused this but since yesterday, when I try to render a vue with kedopanelbar I get the following in Firefox debugger:
[Vue warn]: You are using the runtime-only build of Vue where the template compiler is not available. Either pre-compile the templates into render functions, or use the compiler-included build. found in ---> <KendoPanelbar> <LeftNav> at src\views\LeftNav.vue <App> at src\App.vue <Root>
The kendopanelbar is still being accessed but the error seems to be more to do with webpack etc.
Can anyone suggest where I can look please?
Brian
Using Safari 15.0 visit the documentation page for the DropDownList (https://www.telerik.com/kendo-vue-ui/components/dropdowns/).
Try the examples and you will find that it's not possible to change items in the ComboBox (after the 1st selection). Also it is not possible to choose an item in the DropDownList.
Have confirmed this behaviour is consistent with behaviour we're experiencing in our application.
Impacts both mobile and desktop Safari versions.
