I'm experiencing severe clashes when using native packages with the DropDownTree wrapper. I was only using the wrapper packages before and everything was working fine, however now that I added the native grid to the app the wrapper DropDownTree is giving me Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
I remove all non standard code and still it comes out like the CSS is never applied on top of some other broken stuff.
I'm on VueJS 2.7.14
"@progress/kendo-data-query": "^1.6.0",
"@progress/kendo-drawing": "^1.17.3",
"@progress/kendo-dropdowntree-vue-wrapper": "^2023.1.117",
"@progress/kendo-licensing": "^1.3.0",
"@progress/kendo-svg-icons": "^1.1.1",
"@progress/kendo-theme-default": "^6.0.3",
"@progress/kendo-ui": "^2023.1.117",
"@progress/kendo-vue-animation": "^3.8.1",
"@progress/kendo-vue-data-tools": "^3.8.1",
"@progress/kendo-vue-dateinputs": "^3.8.1",
"@progress/kendo-vue-dropdowns": "^3.8.1",
"@progress/kendo-vue-excel-export": "^3.8.1",
"@progress/kendo-vue-grid": "^3.8.1",
"@progress/kendo-vue-indicators": "^3.8.1",
"@progress/kendo-vue-inputs": "^3.8.1",
"@progress/kendo-vue-intl": "^3.8.1",
"@progress/kendo-vue-popup": "^2.7.3"
I used these packages before and everything was fine:
"@progress/kendo-dropdowntree-vue-wrapper": "^2021.3.1207",
"@progress/kendo-licensing": "^1.2.1",
"@progress/kendo-theme-default": "^4.43.0",
"@progress/kendo-ui": "^2021.3.1207"
If anyone could tell me how to use the css file from @progress/kendo-theme-default": "^4.43.0" inside a component I think that would solve my problem.
I'm trying to make a grid with custom rows by passing a custom vue row component to the :row-render prop like so:
Lsjacl (forked) - StackBlitz
However there's a problem when I'm inserting new rows at the top. It seems the row that's newly created re-uses the row data from the row below it instead of the completely blank data a new row starts out with. When I insert a row at the bottom of the list this problem doesn't occur and the values are all completely blank.
You can reproduce this issue with the following steps:
1: open the stackblitz.
2: click on 'add row to end'.
3: see that there's a newly created row at the bottom of the list.
4: in the field meta it says the initalValue is null
5: now add a row to the beginning of the list with the 'add row to beginning' button
6: The field meta says it's initialValue is 'Lemon' the same value as the row below it.
I'm figuring this has something to do with the loop that's generating all rows using generic indexes instead of unique ID's as described in this video:
https://youtu.be/-6fO2qUmf7I?t=412
Is there a way to fix this so I can insert the row at the beginning of the list and have it start out as a completely fresh vue component?
Hi,

I can't seem to find anything in the docs about how to make the columns auto-fit the width of the container. In the grid wrapper, I've found https://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/knowledge-base/grid-autofit-all-columns-width and can use the dataBound event to access the autoFitColumn method. However, I just can't find anything similar in the docs for the native grid.
Thanks for any help I can get!!
I am trying to figure out how to replace the points (open circle dots) on a line chart with just a smooth line. I have been looking through the chart API and thought the solution would be the plot area border dash type. However, this doesn't appear to do anything. I am either implementing it incorrectly or it is not the correct solution. A third possibility is that it is buggy and does not work. I am using Vue with typescript. Below is my attempted implementation:
<kendo-chart :data-source="chartData"
:series="series"
:pannable-lock="'y'"
:zoomable-mousewheel-lock="'y'"
:zoomable-selection-lock="'y'"
:category-axis="categoryAxis"
:theme="'sass'"
:category-axis-title-text="'Time'"
:value-axis-title-text="'Attribute'"
:tooltip="tooltip"
:plot-area="plotArea">
</kendo-chart>
plotArea: any = {
border: {dashType: 'solid'}
};
I know ListBox probably doesn't support this out of the box but I'm really struggling to find a solution to my problem.
I would like to customize the item template to contain a checkbox and a text input when it is moved to the right ListBox. I am able to put a checkbox and input in there no problem but I can't get the textbox to focus when clicked.I would also like to bind its value to the dataItem but I'm sure I can figure that part out once I'm able to actually type in the box.
Here is a Dojo demonstrating the problem:

Our use case is that we will have a grid, with a single row, that is in edit mode by default.
I can't seem to find any documentation on how to set edit mode by default. Is that possible with the Vue Grid?
Hello,
I have a question, as I can't find the answer in the documentation. Can we use the LocalizationProvider to print localized custom string, in the same way we can do it with VueI18n plugin ? Or the Localization feature is only for the Kendo components ?
