Dear Support team,

We are using Kendo UI grid in our application, which require the functionality to select the multiple cells in a particular column by holding the shift button.

For e.g. click on first row in a particular cell, hold the Shift then click on the different cell in same column in last row to select all the cells in that range.

Please let us know, if that option is available for the selection of multiple cells vertically in a particular column using Shift key,

Thanks

Hello Raj,

The Grid widget supports multiple cell selection but it behaves in a different way - it is not limited over a particular column. You may examine the behavior in this demo page:

Hi Alexander,

Thanks for the link provided, however we have already seen this demo link which will not satisfy our requirement.

Below is our requirement:

In cell mode; click on a cell, shift-click on another cell in same column; THEN ROWS ARE SELECTED INSTEAD OF PROPER CELL RANGE

I am also attaching the screen shot.

Please let us know, if there is any work around for this.

Hello Raj,

Kendo UI Grid cell selection feature does not support your requirements. I am afraid that I cannot suggest a build-in solution for this scenario.
