We have just released a new Beta version. All issues from above are fixed except number 5 and 6. We are still working on them and will complete them for the official release in mid July. From this version on you will get automatic updates for every new version we release as we have introduced auto update manager in JustTrace.
Please let us know if you have any issues or feedback regarding JustTrace.

Thank you for your feedback. The suggestion is nice indeed, many people asked for similar feature. At the moment we are considering several implementations. Probably we will provide a way to define simple include/exclude rules like:
Exclude: System.*, System.Data.*
Include: MyApp.MyNamespace.*
Right now is hard to say when the feature will be on our schedule. As usual any feedback is appreciated.

EDIT
Also the Trace window in VS2010 opens up empty with nothing at all.
Thank you for feedback. Actually while you were writing to us, we've published even newer version. Please download it and try it, if the auto update manager hasn't notified you about this till now. With this version the issue with the empty Trace window in VS 2010 should be fixed.
You're right about the vertical size. It's adjustable but till certain limits. We've made UI improvements in the latest version so we will reduce the vertical size more. Please stay tuned for our next version.

Just a quick recap after our latest Beta release.
Issue 6 is resolved so you mustn't experience compatibility issues with VSCommands add-in anymore. If you still have, please do share with us.
Issue 5 should be fine as well. There are a number of optimizations which are included in the latest Beta version, but we are still working on this so expect more improvements.
Unfortunately there are three new known issues that I would like to add here so you will be aware of them:
(Continuing the list from above):
12. In the new Beta (Beta 2) we introduce support for profiling Windows services. For now we are supporting only Windows Vista and later versions. We will definitely add support for Windows XP and 2003 in some of the next two versions. So please stay tuned.
13. The memory profiler's object-handling model went through significant changes and is currently incorporated in JustTrace's latest beta. It still does not provide a complete memory-usage image of the profiled application; yet, as we speak, it goes through intensive fine-tuning and improvement and will soon be updated.
14. VS Integration - Profiled application might lock down when run with debugger attached.
If you encounter any other issues or have some feedback for us, we be grateful if you share it with us. Thank you.

As for the Trace Window in VS2010 it does indeed show now. However it threw an exception that brought VS down. I will try and get a screenshot but it seems to be an error relating to a duplicate key in a dictionary.
Thank you for your feedback. We are aware of the issue with window size and we're working to provide better UI standalone experience. Can you just tell us what resolution you are using?
Regarding the VS problem - are you trying to run your application in debug mode? If so, we are actively working on this issue as well and we will let you know once a fix is available. In the meantime, is it possible to try it without debugger?
Any further feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I am working in Debug mode VS2010. Enable Just Trace with Sample Profiler. Run the app in Debug mode - Trace window opens and then this error is thrown:

VS then closes when the button is pressed.
Thank you for your prompt response. We are actively working on resolving this issue. I will let you know once a fix is available.

All the issues that are mentioned above should be fixed in the official version but please let us know if you still have troubles with any of them.
There are, unfortunately, other known issues that come with the new features introduced in the official version. You can follow their progress and improvement in other forum thread. So please write any comments you might have regarding them in this thread:
