The DatePicker popup doesn't work if the jQuery Globalize library was included before the Kendo UI lib in the page:

http://jsfiddle.net/XBSjf/1/

(the datepicker popup is shown, but the input field/mvvm model isn't updated with the selected date). Workaround: include jQuery Globalize after Kendo UI lib.

Hello Wolfgang,

After further investigation, we noticed that the Globalize.parseDate cannot parse value, which is Date object. That is why the DatePicker widget does not work. We was able to address this limitation and the next internal build will add support for Globalize.js. As a side note, the globalize.js file should be included before the kendo scripts.
