Hi,

I am going to publish an Android app that you have to pay for in Google Play. If I understand it right, I need to include the license key (64base RSA) that has been assigned to the app in Google Play into the APK file. How can I do that, using the Telerik AppBuilder windows client?

/Ola.

Hi Ola,

Are you talking about incorporating Google's License Validation Library (LVL) into your app? If that is the case this feature requires implementing a custom Cordova plug-in. After some research we have found so far only code samples like this one: PhoneGap Android License Key App Checker Plugin, but nothing ready-made you can use directly in your application.

If this is important and implementing a custom plug-in on your own is not an option, you can open a bounty in community forums like stack overflow or post a feature request in the Icenium Feedback Portal. If there is enough interest from other customers as well, we might consider providing such a plug-in ourselves with one of the future releases, but as of now, you are the second person to request it.

Regards,
Steve
