I get dupliate records using grid exemple code

Hi,

I use code from kendo mvc grid inline editing example.
When I save first time is ok but when I save second time first record is writen one more time into database.

I run kendo grid exapmles project to be sure that I didnt make any mistakes  when I copied code.
I noticed that same error is also on examples.

Any idea?

I found what was wrong. I use stored procedures for BL so on insert I need to return new record ID back to grid:

genericLookupDTO.ID = Convert.ToInt32(ReturnValue);

             

return Json(new[] { genericLookupDTO }.ToDataSourceResult(request, ModelState));
