Hello Sir,

Telerik tools for Windows phone 7 is awesome, Thank you. I want to create application which is display the Gauge value according to RadDatePicker control. It means when user select any date from RadDatePicker so check into the database and display value in Gauge Control. This kind of functionality is possible to bind with Database.

Thank You in advance.

Romil.

Hi Romil,

Thanks for the question.
Please explain in more detail what you need accomplish. A date picker returns a single value while a gauge displays a range of values and one or more indicators point at values in that range. Do you mean to make an indicator have the value that the date picker returned?
I am looking forward to your reply.

Kind regards,

Hi Victor,

Thank You for your reply. I want to develop application which contains one RadDatePicker & one RadGauge Control. It means there are database available on any website that contains one column date which is connect with RadDatePicker control. When user select date from RadDatePicker so check into the database and display that kind of result into Gauge control.
Example : there are any weather database so it contains date, temp, etc. so when user select date 04-06-2012 so whatever value store in the database for temp. of that particular day so display result in Gauge control with ex. 34 temp.

When use again select another date so display another value in Gauge.

Thank You,

Romil.

Hello Romil,

From what I understand the most appropriate gauge would be thermometer like. You can easily construct such a gauge with the LinearGaugeRange class and one or several linear indicators. Please have a look at our online help related to the gauges, especially the design-time gallery, and also our Examples application, it contains many samples of gauges that you can reuse and modify as needed.

All the best,
