I need to display about 90 datapoints in total on a simple line series chart but display only 6 initially in the view port and allow the user to pan the graph to view more data.

Setting the Zoom property on RadCartesianChart displays the graph itself correctly but the ticks on the bottom axis is all jumbled up because all 90 ticks are being displayed.

How do I setup the graph to allow for horizontal pan of the entire series allowing 6 data points to be visible in the view port at any given time?

thanks

Hi Stefan,

Thank you for writing and using our controls.
It appears that the question Ramesh asked was related to bug that should already be fixed. Please upgrade to the latest version of the controls for this one.
The answer Georgi gave was this:

You may set the LabelFitMode of the axis to AxisLabelFitMode.Rotate so that the labels are not overlapped.

I will notify you when the BETA is out so that you may update your application.

Thank you once again for your time and understanding. Do not hesitate to contact us should you have any question about our tools.

On the other hand if you simply need information on how to use the pan/zoom feature of RadChart, please use RadChartBase's PanOffset and Zoom properties.

I hope this was helpful, if you need further assistance we're ready to provide it.

All the best,
Victor
