I would like to know how/if you can get the current application version. Not the device Version or Cordova version (device.version or device.cordova as these are not useful to the end user or to our reporting services.)

The number we are looking to retrieve and output to the users is the one displayed in the properties page, under the General Tab, that is next to the "Application Identifier"

This number is useful to us to show and receive feedback from users as well as report back on bug reports without having to hardcode the information in two locations.

Also if a function does not exists for this, as a feature request, our team wanted to know if we could/would see a Auto increment feature for the version number allowing you to auto increment the Build number portion of the Version number.

Hello Marcelo,

This plugins has an updated plugin.xml and a proper directory structure, so it qualifies for a plugman-compatible.

Hello Sean,

I can suggest you to check the AppVersion demo app for a reference. To test it directly, please click the red Load in AppBuilder button.

Let me know how this works for you.

Hello Shane,

When I click on the AppVersion verified plugin link, it should open fine, or do you mean the link my colleague posted with his initial post? To test the app directly, please click the red Load in AppBuilder button.
