Can you clarify at what stage it will be supported 2020, 2021, later or not at all!!!
To the Arab world, Even the best components, if there is no FULL Arabic support, are also not useful at all, particularly when system is completely dependent on Hijri or Umulqura calendars.
Syncfusion has great support for Arabic cultures and I also heard same for ComponentOne.
This issue is pending for years and I dont know why it is so difficult for Telerik to implement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Mak,
We have already planned our tasks for Q1 2012 and I cannot give you a certain timeframe when this feature will be available. We are aware of the demand, and we will do our best to include it in the development plans for the next Q.
Meanwhile, you can track the PITS item, where it will be marked if the development has been started.
Hope this information is useful.
Kind regards,
Konstantina

Hi Konstantina,
Is the Hijri calendar support going to be released in Q1 2012? If so, when do you expect it to be released by? Just need a confirmation as it will determine whether we should go down the path of creating our own custom calendar.
Thanks.

Hello Padman,
As mentioned earlier, the Hijri Calendar won't be released in Q1 2012 version. Due to the complexity of the task, for now I cannot give you a certain time frame when this is going to be ready.
The most certain way to find out when the work on the calendar has started is to track the status of the PITS item.
Kind regards,
Konstantina

Its now 2014, any updates from 2012...any Quater ? When are you planning to release a control for Hijri ?

Hi,
This is more complex feature than usual. The parser of the current DatePicker control is complex enough, and since the Hijri calendar is a bit more different from the Gregorian, this makes the task as twice as complicated. We will need to research it in details, in order to be able to provide a time frame for this task.
Please accept out apologies for the caused inconvenience.

Hi Huw,
I'm afraid that currently RadScheduleView and RadCalendar support only Gregorian calendar. However we have this feature request logged into our Feedback portal. You can vote for it and track its status on the following link:

If you have any other questions, let us know.

Hello Amjed,
Thank you for writing.
Currently, RadCalendar and RadScheduler from the WinForms suite do not support Hirji calendar. We do have a request to support Shamsi calendar, however as I am not sure whether these are connected we have added a request for Hirji and Umulqura calendars as well. We will appreciate your feedback on how these calendars should look like and what they should support on the requests pages. This will help us during our research and feature planning.
I hope this information helps.

Stefan
