So I'm wondering if there is a way to group items with a heading within a combobox or dropdownlist. See attached. A regular html select uses an optgroup element to accomplish something like that.

We have an official feature request for this and I can suggest voting for it as it will increase its chances to the implemented sooner:

The requested item also has an example that showcases how a similar result can be achieved with the current version.
