Hi Salim,
Thank you for the runnable example. The discussed behavior can be changed by providing fixed height to the Grid rows (TR elements), so that it does not vary based on the elements, rendered inside, and their respective styles, e.g.:
http://dojo.telerik.com/EsATab/3
In more common scenarios with multiple columns, the described issue is not present, as the row's height is preserved by the other cells that are not in editing mode (assuming the default Incell editing mode).
I hope this helps.

Thanks Dimiter. I am aware of this workaround. But shouldn't this be fixed from the control? Is everyone who needs to use the Grid Telerik to edit data set the height just to fix this?

Hi Salim,
You are making a valid point, and I understand why you would expect this styling to be coming out-of-the-box, but we are trying to prioritize the new features, enhancements, and fixes that we include in Kendo UI, based on customer demand, and the overall significance of a given issue.
Since the discussed undesired behavior is observed in a Grid in incell editing mode, containing a single column only, and there is a straightforward CSS solution, the issue currently is not in our immediate priorities.
If you have the time, please submit a request to our UserVoice portal for any features and enhancements that you feel would improve the quality of our product:
http://kendoui-feedback.telerik.com/forums/127393-kendo-ui-feedback
It is closely monitored, and popular ideas are considered for next releases of Kendo UI. Thank you in advance.
