I have a Kendo UI grid (MVC) on a page. I have the height set so that about 20 rows can be displayed. When I have 20 rows displayed and click the Add New Record button or programmatically add a new row, the grid does not scroll up so that the new row can be seen at the bottom of the page (where I have new rows set to display). If I start typing into the first column, the grid will usually scroll up so I can see the new row (but not always).

Hello,

Generally speaking, when user add a new record, the grid will be scrolled to the new record and the focus will be set to the first cell of the new record. You can see the same behavior on our online demos.
Here, you can find an example with bottom position of the new record.
The both examples work as expected on my end. Can you test them on your side and let me know what is the difference with your project? Additionally, can you specify if that behavior is specific for certain browser?

Milena
