Filtering a table with several values in some cells

Is there a way to use Kendo UI Grid for filtering a table with multiple values in some cells?

 

I'm going to use Kendo UI, but originally posted the question here:

Hello John,

The described behavior is unfortunately not supported out-of-the box. The closest we can offer is the following custom example, which demonstrates something similar:

One important difference is that the filtered data in the above demo is not served via nested objects. That's why you will need to implement some custom server-side filtering too.
