I've successfully deployed an app to my own iPhone with an ipa file & itunes, but when I sent the ipa to a beta tester he did not succeed to install it. The last step "installing" fails, and the only thing that appears on the phone screen is a dark icon (not the icon I made for the app) + the app name. Since it comes this far I don't think its a problem with the uuid? Also the tester tried on two phones, iPhone 3s and iPhone 4s (I added both uuids). Same issue. Is this a known issue? Can I find hints in some installer log?

Thanks

Hello Jonas,

According to your post, the behavior you describe is inherent to devices that are not present in the provision used to sign the app. Please verify that the ad-hoc/developer provision you use to sign your app includes the iOS devices that your beta tester is trying to install it on. You can compare the device UDID to the one available in your provision in Telerik AppBuilder (go to User -> Options -> iOS -> Provision List -> Devices).

Thanks, that was indeed the case. I was mislead by the app "Yarg" which I found as top result when I googled for a simple way to find and email the device id. Turns out Yarg only works with iOS versions pre 7. (In 7 it generates a fake uuid with correct format which is why I did not get an error when registering it).
