Hi,

I have a Word document I use as template, the document contains multiple sections, page breaks and column breaks. When the PDF is exported, I got every section in a new page and all pages with multiple columns render as one column.

Am I missing some setting in the export?

Thanks for the help!

Hello Eliel,

Section columns are currently not supported in RadWordsProcessing's model and in the export to PDF. Here is the respective item in our public feedback portal, where you can vote, comment, and follow to get notifications on potential status changes:
WordsProcessing: Section columns

Considering that you have permissive license, one possible workaround would be to use the document model and format providers of RadRichTextBox for WPF (or WinForms). The model supports section columns and export to PDF, the only small downsides are that it references some WPF-related assemblies (still part of .NET Framework) and has to be run in STA thread.

Thanks Boby!

The workaround fits for now. I will keep an eye on the feature because templates are really important for us.
