I want to export data in rad tree list view to excel. Only the data which is visible, but not the collapsed one.

example: there is a tree t, to it it has children c1,c2,c3,c4,c5. for each children, there are 3 children, but collapsed(not visible).So now I want to export the one which are visible.

Possible solution pls.

Hi,

You can handle ElementExporting event and cancel it for the rows/ items that you do not want to be exported.

Hi Maya,

Thanks for the reply. But it is not supporting .xlsx format. I want to export in .xlsx only. Please help

Hi,

Generally, if you follow the approach illustrated in the "SpreadProcessing Integration" demo, you can manipulate the elements that are added in the workbook. 
On a side note, we will introduce a built-in support of our SpreadProcessing in our next official release - Q1 2015 and you will be able to export out of the box to xlsx. It will throw its corresponding events and you will be able to cancel the exporting of some of the elements.
