Is there a way to capture events when the user saves or prints the PDF in the viewer? Additionally, is there a way to disable these functions?

Hello Jesse,

I am not sure what you mean by "saves the PDF in the viewer". Could you please provide some additional explanations about that?

The PDFViewer does not have an event that triggers when the user prints the PDF. You could by to the click event of the Print command button, and execute some logic there, if that would be appropriate for you.

If by disable you mean to remove the command from the toolbar, you can do that by setting display: none to the command button.

Both suggestions are demonstrated in this small Dojo example.

If the above is not what you had in mind, please get back to me with some additional details about the scenario and the desired result. Feel free to modify the Dojo, or to attach a runnable sample. I will then happily assist you.

I am looking forward to your reply.

Regards,
Martin
