I have loaded a backup of my project and upgraded again and I still get the same error after I clean and rebuild the project. Any suggestions to fix this or workaround would be appreciated.

Hello James,

Thank you for the provided details.

This error looks similar to a one logged in our Feedback Portal. I am happy to share that this error is already fixed. The fixed is included in R2 2022 SP1 (LIB 2022.2.711) lib version. I am sending you a link, where you can follow the steps in the article to navigate to the download page inside your account.

https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/winforms/installation-and-upgrades/latest-internal-builds

Give the LIB version a try and let me know if this error appears again.

Hi there,

I am having the same problem and uninstalling/reinstalling the Telerik UI for Winforms do not solve the problem.

I am now trying the solution proposed above and have downloaded the library "Telerik_UI_For_WinForms_2022_2_711_Dev_dlls.zip". How do I installed the zip file?

Thank you for any help.

Hi Ekoue,

I am sorry you are experiencing a problem with Telerik Ui for WinForms. First, when you purchase a UI for WinForms license you can download our latest internal builds. Because there isn't a .msi installation file, after you downloaded the file there are two options that you can use. You can try to extract the zip file and manually add the required DLL files to your project.

The second option is to use NuGet. There is a page on our website which gives you access to our Latest Internal Builds and this article describes how to install the WinForms suite using the NuGet package.

I hope this helps you, give it a try and if you having any trouble again don't hesitate to write.

Regards,
Maria

Hi Maria,

I followed the instructions and have installed the internal build. However the issue persists. Please see screenshot below.

Hi Ekoue,

Thank you for the provided screenshot.

Please have in mind that if the .resx file is already broken due to the previous issue, upgrading with the LIB version wouldn't fix the .resx file automatically. It will require manually fixing the file and removing the wrongly serialized data.

I am sending you a .gif file with a recorded video of how I'm fixing the problem. I hope this works.
