Does the filter popup support a multi level hierarchy - as it seems to flatten such a hierarchy into 2 levels All, and then list of all members (as opposed to how other tools might display?)
FYI In my case its an organisational hierarchy
Thanks

The "Fields filter" menu filters the data equally on all levels. If you would like to filter on multi-levels, then you will need to use the "Include filter...".

Hi
Sorry i wasn't clear, it IS the include filter that i am referring to, and it is showing all of the elements in the hierarchy - just flattened... Whereas if i view same hierarchical dimension in tools such as SSMS cube browser, or Excel -> then i see a hierarchical tree
Does the pivot grid support such a feature?
Thanks
Chris
If you would like to expand the TreeView holding the unique values on window open in order to show the applied include filters, then you will need to do that manually: We have plans to improve this behavior, but for now the developer who wants to re-expand the treeview should manage the task manually.

OK... Got to admit my 'BAD' in this case as my test stub had used the wrong item from hierarchy dimension... SO I was only ever seeing flat list... After fixing my test stub, it all worked as a dream and i saw my org structure tree in the filters include popup...
Although your 'expand in the popup' answer also interesting, relevant and would have probably been my next question :)
Thanks
Chris
