My main page has several dynamically created tab pages, each of which contains a docking manager (NOT a  radDock), and on which are several dynamically created UserDockPanels.  Serialising the DockingManager(s) used to save the state correctly.  However, since Q2 2009 only the header <DockingTree.... > is now saved, and no internal properties about the various panels are saved.  Has anything changed in the upgrade which is preventing this serialisation? And if so, how do I now serialise the docking panels?

It will be a major change to 'upgrade' to radDock which gives me no advantages, so for the time being I need to use the Docking Manager

Hello John W Wilson,

We have not made any changes to the DockingManager, related to serialization in Q2 2009. Nevertheless, I did a couple of quick tests with the Save/Load methods of the DockingManager and found no problems in the xml files. We will be happy to review your application to see what is wrong - feel free to send it in a new support ticket.

The new RadDock does not offer new features, however everything else is greatly improved, including API, layouts, save/load functionality, performance, transparent logical structure, and simple access of used inner controls. We also provide a way to upgrade your existing app to RadDock directly in Visual Studio.

We will be expecting your ticket.

Best wishes,
