never had a chance to try it when I started my trial so I'm currently on a Free license
but I thought I would give it try now. I was able to deploy the app to my
Android 4.4 phone and get it to work which was great but it did not work on my
Windows 8.1 Phone (Nokia Lumia 630). The AppBuilder application installed fine
but when I scanned the QR Code for my app it brings up AppBuilder and then just
displays the text of the source code for the application on the screen.
Not sure what else to try. I followed the instructions on your website.
Any suggestions?

Could you try building a standalone package and installing it on the device instead of using the AppBuilder companion app and see if your app works correctly? We have received some reports of problems with the WP version of the companion app, which we are still investigating. You can see how you can build and run an app on a device, without the companion app, here:

Then I scan the QR code to install the app package and it downloads Dineissimo.xap. When that runs I get prompted to "Install company app?" and I click "install". Then nothing happens. It just takes me back to the browser download page for the app. I don't see the app in the list of apps on my phone so I'm assuming it did't install.
Any suggestions? Is there something I'm missing?
It is expected that not to get any prompt when the AET is added successfully. If the problem with installation was related to the AET, you would get the following message when you try to install the app:
Before you install this app, you need to add Telerik company account.
If you do not see this message, then the problem is somewhere else. I tried installing your app on a Lumia 830 and it appeared in the app list. Have you tried basic troubleshooting steps like restarting the phone, downloading the package again, etc.?
Also, as a last option for running the app on a WP device, if you are using the Visual Studio extension or Windows client for AppBuilder, try connecting the device to your computer and using the Build and Deploy option.

While you run your app using the Build and Deploy option, do you see any errors in the Output window in Visual Studio/the Windows client? It is possible that a JavaScript error prevents the execution of the app. On my side, everything loads correctly using a Lumia 830 along with the Build and Deploy option.

I'm getting the same exact issue mike is experiencing; I have a brand new Lumia 635 and I tried to deploy my app with Appbuilder CLI ($ appbuilder build wp8) through QR code.
When I try to install the app it asks me to install first a Telerik AET, which is not going to install. In fact when I try to open the .eatx file it asks to add first a workplace account (what is that?). When then I click to "add" it simply goes back to the browser, and nothing more happens.
If I try to add a workplace account from "system settings > workplace", it asks for an email address: which one should I sue? I tried with my Telerik email and my microsoft account address, but both didn't get me through. It says to check for the data/wifi connection and try again, but the connection works just fine
I am developing on a MAC, might this be an issue?
Also, I am not registered as microsoft developer, but it should not be a problem since I am not trying to publish my up on the store.
Thanks, Anthony
When you build the application via the AppBuilder Command Line Interface, you should be prompted with a page showing two QR codes. The upper one is the actual application package and the one at the bottom is for the Telerik Company Hub App application enrollment token (AET). If you are deploying an AppBuilder app to your device for the first time, you will need to scan the AET QR code first. On the device, this should download the TelerikCompanyHubApp.aetx file. Opening it, you should be asked if you want to add a workplace account for Telerik AD. Clicking add won't indicate that the operation is successful, but will return you to the page you have launched the aetx file from. This is normal and the Telerik AD aet should be added after it. Next, you should be able to continue with scanning the application package QR code (the one at the top). On the device, this will download your project's xap file. Launching that xap file will install the application on the device. Again, there won't be any indication if the installation has started. You will need to wait a bit and then find it among the other apps installed on the device.
The above said, I think that the Telerik AET is already added on your device, as no error has been returned during the process.
Further, you can find more about workplace accounts for WP here.
I hope this helps.
