Did you mean to remove the enable function from the DropDownList?

Hi,

Kendo Web 2013.2.918 no longer has the DropDownList.enable(enabled) function.  It appears that this has been removed from your documentation as well.  But, interestingly, it is still in the demos on your website.  Did you remove this?  Why?  Now I have to use readonly and then set the disabled styling manually which is doable but what a hassle for people upgrading.

Hello Scott,

The enable method is still present and will not be removed. Check this jsBin demo, which uses the aforementioned version of Kendo UI.

Regarding the documentation, the method information was deleted by mistake. Now it is available in the docs.kendoui.com site.

As a gratitude for your involvement I updated your Telerik points.

Hi Georgi,

Thank you for the reply.  While fixing the documentation you might want to add the function definition back to the typescript file as well.

Thanks,

Scott

Hello again Scott,

The TypeScript definitions will be updated with the next official release of Kendo UI due in this week.
