Hi,

In the following example i have a kendo datetimepicker with a min and max date.

When i change the date by typing only (don't use the calendar and time button), and change it to the max day: 16/6/2014
And then open the time picker, it still shows the min time of 8:15 which is not correct.

Hello Jack,

The DateTimePicker is designed to update the time options on value change, which does not happen when a value is entered manually and the input is still focused. You can accomplish your goal if you set the value manually on time view opening. Here is the updated jsFiddle demo showing how to accomplish this.
I will log this request for further consideration. If other users require the same functionality then we will schedule it for further investigation.
