Where can i find a listing of all of the different data-role values?
You guys have tons of widgets and I am not sure which role i should use to specify which kind of widget i am trying to get to. is there a convention where it is the normal widget name but not camel cased?

+1 on this question. Spent a lot of time in forums, docs - could not find it. In addition could you please list for each data-role value what html elements it could be applied to?

I vote for this as well. I looked all over, and couldn't find it anywhere. I happened to find one I can use for "radialgauge" in a forum post, but now need to find one for the other charts.
I'm struggling a little to learn Kendo at the moment. It really needs improved documentation, and LOTS more code samples. Don't get me wrong...some doc pages are really good, but it feels like there are holes in others. A lot of times, I can't seem to find the answer to what I want to get done when it seems like it should be right there in the docs.
Just one inconsistency example is that you'd never know donut charts can display as nested donuts, unless you happened to click on the "Binding to remote data" sample. Why that feature is shown off there, instead of a "Nested donuts" sample is beyond me.. Any feature that someone might want to do should basically be its own sample. I can't help but wonder what other hidden features the charts have that are not exposed in any of the samples, and I'll find out about something down the road because I notice it in those long API pages, or in some random sample I didn't think to click on before.
Also, some of the documentation links show pages telling me to visit the new and improved documentation...which is where I thought I was already. KendoUI is showing promise for sure, but I'd really like improved documentation. Just my two cents...

and the important note in the aforementioned article:
"The value of the role data attribute is the lower-case name of the widget—"autocomplete", "dropdownlist", and so on."
