Custom error message for row validation

When i am using row validation the line is becoming red and showing the error message required or custom message.

This is only possible [ showing the error message ] if I put my cursor on the red box.

I am doing a Tab and Type project in which i should not use the cursor.

Without using the cursor can i get error message auto populate. I don't want any popup window to generate or label on top.

Is it possible?

I am not sure how you have implemented your custom validation. You ask if it is possible to get the error message auto-populate and in the same time you are saying you don't want "any popup window to generate or label on top". Would you please clarify your requirement sharing a bit more details on the expected behavior?
Still, you can check the Row Validation online demo on the option of having a validation summary displaying all the errors.
