I downloaded the RadControls for WinForms and I'm having a little trouble. I was trying to use a RadTitleBar control, and looking at the documentation it says to start by creating a RadShapedForm.

The documentation says to create the RadShapedform as mentioned in the QuickStart.

My problem is, I can't seem to find a QuickStart that describes how to create a RadShapedForm.. I tried searching the documentation and it turned up nothing.

Thanks!!

Hi Kevin,

Please excuse us for the inconvenience.

The RadShapedForm class name is actually obsolete now and currently it is called only ShapedForm. In order to use it, you have to ensure you have a reference to Telerik.WinCotrols.UI assembly, and import the Telerik.WinControls.UI namespace in your form file. Then you have to just change your form to inherit from ShapedForm instead of "Form". You can also take a peek at the following KB article, where we have discussed several options related to ShapedForm:
http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/article/b454K-ttk-b454T-ckd-b454c-ckd.aspx

We will update all references to the old name in the documentation and in the help.

Kind regards,
