Hello,
If you guys in Telerik use CSS Sprites in Forum for product Images you can reduce at least 110 requests and make a good performance improvment.

Best regards

Hello Telerik,

I currently work for the University of Southern California as a Sr. Web Developer.  I had the privilege of meeting your awesome team at Devconnections 2008 in Las Vegas.  You guys are the best AJAX controls for .NET out there.  You integrate elegance with cutting edge functionality.

Using your controls we were able to create a simple yet effective CMS system.  We utilize almost all of your controls and by doing so we have cut production time by 50%.  Here is a short list of some of our production sites:

http://housing.usc.edu/

http://hospitality.usc.edu/
http://thelot.usc.edu/

Along with these sites we have several internal internet applications and a few more websites that are in our pipeline.

You guys rock!

- Jose

The new forum design seems to have a major issue with my Firefox v3.0.4 browser. In creating a new thread, I'm able to only change the title edit box but complely unable to type anything into the message edit box. Not even the buttons on the top of the edit box: Bold, Italic, Spell Checker are working. The only way I'm able to type this is to load the page in IE, which is incredibly annoying. Could you please help fix this issue ASAP? Thanks.

Hello,
I found a very good article series about ASP.NET Membership and one them Implementing Logging In As Another User.
Read it in Examining ASP.NET 2.0's Membership, Roles, and Profile - Part 13

In the new forums (which I have learned are actually the old forums, just re-skinned and wrapped for use in Sitefinity), I can see that there is a difference between an unread thread and one that I have read because the title of the thread is bolder.  In the past there was a little icon to denote a thread with an unread post.  I don't mind this change, it just takes a little getting used to.  However, what I can't see anymore is a way to find out which posts within a thread I have read and which ones I have not.  Again, there used to be a little icon next to an unread post within a thread, and as far as I can tell there is no difference between read / unread posts within a thread anymore.

If I've missed it, please let me know where it is.  If you've missed it, please consider marking posts as unread within a thread.  It really helps for efficiency in the longer (and highly active) threads.  Thanks,

Shaun.

I just wanted to be one of the first ones to speak out about Telerik's new site design.  It looks so great!  I love all aspects of the new site.  I do miss the automatic drop-down menus though.  On a whole, Telerik, thanks for refreshing the design so well.  I hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I do!

I know that when you make your profile public, you can click on your username and, well, see your profile.  The advantage in this - for me, anyway - is being able to see the most recent forum threads that I've participated in.  But I don't really like having my profile public.  When I make my profile private, though, I lose this valuable functionality.  My question is, would there be any way to have a list of the forum threads you've participated in that shows up somewhere (account, forum sidebar, etc.) even when my profile is private?  It'd be really great!

Thanks,

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but in case it's not just me I want to report some weird behavior in Firefox.  When I click "reply" or "new thread" and come to the posting screen, the title textbox and content editor are outlined in red.  I can type in the title, but I can't seem to edit or insert any text in the editor.  This seems to just happen in Firefox (though I only tested it in FF and IE 7, so I can't say for sure).  When I refresh the page, neither input area has a red outline around it and I can type as usual.  This is happening every time to me.  I haven't noticed this happening to me on other sites, and this wasn't an issue with the old Telerik site.  Anyway, if this is a legitimate bug, I hope you can fix it without too much trouble!

Thank you,

I bet maybe these may have been mentioned, before.. :

Aggregate--  Please create pages that feature, say, all the latest posts, by suite.  And then put an RSS feed for that, too.  When I'm working I'd like to keep up on all suite posts.. without having to drill down to each forum.

Search-- I know this has been said.. it's awful.  Also, search.. open items in new window.. work... etc.. revisit search page and it's no longer valid.  forcing a new search.  (it's easier to just use Google site-search)

Oh.. an ajax preview, or, ajax view.. of the post would be great.

Thanks.. D

It seems to me that the forum search includes the menu as part of the content to be searched. If I seek info on RadToolTip it returns every page in the forum since it finds it in the menu of every page.

This is very frustrating and is likely bloating your forum since many people post questions that would otherwise be located with a simple search.

I have been testing your new Prometheus suite and find it exhaustive due to this issue. I must spend 80% more time to find the answers I seek. Once in full production, this will cost me money and possibly lead me to drop your tool set as a result. I should be able to search on RadToolTip and return nothing but posts that actually contain the word RadToolTip.
