Hi!

Is it possible to add move animation when call ObservableCollection.Move method?

Standard maui CollectionView supports the move animation.

I attached the sample to see what i mean.

Hi Marat,

I have some issues running the project. Could you please update the project to use only the Telerik MAUI reference, without third party packages and add the .sln file to it. Then archive the project and attach it to the reply.

Thank you in advance.

You can check gif, when we do ObservableCollection.Move it uses animation to move an item.

Seems RadCollectionVIew does not support animation when we do ObservableCollection.Move

Hi Marat,

Thank you for sending the video. Indeed, currently there is no animation with the Telerik .NET MAUI CollectionView when the item position is updated through the Move method. This is a valid feature request, so I logged it on your behalf in our public feedback portal, you can follow the item here:

CollectionView: Apply an animation when an item is moved through the Move method of the source collection

We're going to update the feedback item as soon as there is any status update on it. For the time being, this feature is with low priority in our backlog, due to other tasks related to the CollectionView.

I remain at your disposal if you have any additional questions on this.

Regards,
Yana
