Chart : show line for dividing chart

Stacked Grouped Chart : divide chart in two part on half yearly basis, a line shouls be used to divide the chart. attaching screen shot.

Unfortunately, dividing a column chart is not supported.  However, I tried to make a customized approach with this sample demo.  I made a blank row of data, and inserted a line using note.

I would definitely introduce the topic at the Kendo UI Feedback site. The developer look at the new ideas and implementations that are voted highly.

Hi Nilesh,

Like my colleague said, this feature is not supported out of the box. I like the solution he proposed and its the cleanest way to go. Playing around with the chart a little, we also arrived at this other possibility; check it out and keep in mind that it has its drawbacks, like the fact that it wont look good if the visibility of the Value Axis MajorGridLines is set to true:
