Hey guys

i`m currently tryiung to manipulate the TopLevelItem highlighting on MouseOver of RadMenu.

Do you have any suggestions for me how i can achieve this? Because i need to change the orange default highlighting into a white one.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Konstantina,

i would like to thank your for your reffered example and really i got it to work.

But there is another question. Is there any possibiliy to highlight the current selected item in RadMenu too?

I found there some states and dozen of colors but they didn´t worked for me.

Or is the only way to select an item via code?

Thank you in advance.

Regards
Chris

Hello Chris,

Thank you for contacting us.

Could you please explain in details what exactly you are trying to achieve, I am afraid I can't understand right?
Sending a screenshot of the desired effect or more details will be very helpful.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely yours,

Hey Konstantina,

absolutely no problem. My english may not be the best :)

Attached you will find a picture with the described behaviour.

The purple arraw is showing the "Hovered State" and the red arrow is showing the "Selected State".

I got the "Hovered State" to work but the "Selected State" won`t work.

Is there something special about the "Selected State" of an item or do i have to achieve this via CodeBehind?

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the screenshot.

You will have to edit the Selected state of the ChromeButton or the Pressed stated if your menu is set to ClickToOpen="True". The short video which Panayot has sent in one of the previous posts: http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/silverlight/menu/radmenu-hover-behaviors.aspx#1312865 shows exactly how to change the Background colours for the states.

Hope this helps. If you have any other questions please let us know.

All the best,
Konstantina
