I have Windows 8.1 Pro with Visual Studio 2012 Professional and Visual Studio 2013 Express installed.
I want to install UI for Windos 8 XAML but it is disabled in Telerik Control Panel stating that it requires Windows 8.1 or Server 2012 R2
Why can't I install it?

Additional note, I have the option to install previous versions, but not the latest one 2014. 2 617

I also have the same issue. I tried downloading the installer directly in the hope that would work, but it opens the Telerik Control Panel and displays the messages that I require Windows 8.1 or Server 2012 R2.

Just a quick update...I managed to install the latest version by un-installing the current version and re-installing. When I went into the Control Panel it downloaded a new update and then I was able to install the latest version.

Funny behavior,
I have uninstalled VS 2013 Express and installed VS 2013 Professional and now I can install the latest version of UI for Windows 8 XAML,, however, now I cannot install any version of UI for Windows 8 HTML. I am getting the same message i was getting for the other one.

The reason why you cannot install the UI for Windows 8 HTML is because the current Q2 2014 release does not include version for HTML. If you want to install the latest HTML version you can access it through your account - Products & Subscriptions - DevCraft Ultimate - Download Installer and other resources - UI for Windows 8 HTML - Browse all product files - choose the option that suits you best.
