I'm trying to create my own theme, specifically for the Winforms GridView. I can't even get started. I've included the first 4 instructions from the help file. I can't even get past step 2, I can't find the Visual Style Builder on the Smart Tag. Any help would be great.

From the help file.

You can customize your theme based on the built-in themes. For example, to change the color of header area, follow these steps:

  1. Select a RadGridView control.
  2. Start Visual Style Builder from the RadGridView Smart Tag.
  3. Set the Theme Name to "My Theme".
  4. In the Control Structure tab, locate and click GridHeaderCellElement.

Hi Tim,

Thank you for the question.

Could you please share with us the location of the help topic you have referred to? This information is outdated and you can't open the current version of Visual Style Builder from the SmartTag. We are currently in the process of updating our documentation according to the latest changes introduced in our Visual Style Builder and its base theming mechanism.

As to the current VSB application, you can open it as it is described here.

I hope this helps.
