Can icenium do what I need?

looking seriously at being a paid subscriber, but having a heckuva time trying to find a platform ide that will let me accomplish the following in a mobile app:
- periodically download images from my server, and save them in the app local store (phonegap has filetransfer.download, but only for ios and android)
- the ability to actually test phonegap functions (such as filetransfer) in the simulator, instead of having to install the app ona mobile device to properly test them

Can icenium successfully take care of both those? Does your sync service handle updating both images and text-based data?

Hello Bernd,

Thank you for your interest in our product and up to your questions:

• Icenium currently supports Android and iOS only, so you can use the FileTransfer object.
• The File Cordova API is currently not supported in the simulator (you can see a list of supported APIs here), but we're working on extending the support for all APIs for subsequent versions, so stay tuned.

And yes, the livesync would sync all files in your application. Only project specific files such as app icon or splashscreen would require you to reinstall the app.
