I have two questions -

1) Currently I have a grid with a grouping on "Type". However, I need to be able to display columns with totals similar to the column footers but in the group header.

2) I need to display column sums at the top of the grid, not at the bottom for all types. A row with computed values?

Any suggestions? Are these types of things possible with the grid?

Hi Jarrod,

Thank you for contacting us.

Although that you can define custom groupHeaderTemplate, within that template you can access only the aggregate value for the field that the group level is grouped by and it will not be possible to include other aggregates (from other columns).

As for the second question, this is also not supported scenario, because the aggregates will be displayed in the footer and it could not be rendered at the top of the grid. However, with jQuery it should be possible to implement some custom logic for cloning the TR element of the grid footer and append it in a TABLE element placed above the grid.

Hope this helps.
