Hi,
I'm using 2011/Q3 and specifically the Radbook control inside a asp.net webform. There appears to be about a 5 second delay in loading the Control even though there is no data to be displayed. During the time it takes to load the control the busy indicator displays 'Telerik Controls for Silverlight' across the screen. Is there some kind of delay build in to display the add? If so how do I get rid of the add and the delay?

Hi Baz,
The message that gets displayed isn't an ad but rather a notification that you're using a trial version of our controls. It won't be displayed once you reference the developer's version of our controls for Silverlight.
However, I am not sure if this message is the cause for the delay you describe. So please test your application using the developer's version of RadControls for Silverlight to see if that helps in getting over the issue. If it doesn't help it would be best to send us a small solution where the issue can be reproduced.
