Hi,

I would like to know if there's a way to bind data when the user click on the "+" sign of a ChildGridViewTemplate ? The problem is that i'm able to do all the steps, including binding the data to the ChildGridViewTemplate, but when it leave the method, i'm getting this error message :

Exception thrown by application
Title:Exception
Message:
Exception:
Namespace: Telerik.WinControls.UI.BaseGridBehavior
Function:OnMouseDownLeft
Line:0
Message: The object reference not set to an instance of an object
...

We are using RadControls for Winforms Q2 2009 SP1

Thanks for helping me on that one.

Francois

Hello Frank,

Currently we do not support this feature, however we have plans to implement load on demand hierarchy in one of our upcoming releases. This will make it possible to load your data when aspecific event fires. Nevertheless, we will appreciate it if you share with us your scenario. This will help us to shape the new feature and consider this specific case when planning the feature.

I am looking forward to your reply.

Sincerely yours,
Jack
