Bind a collection of layers

Is it possible to use binding at the layer collection level?
I would like to use MVVM and bind a number of layers (Information layers for now, maybe dynamic in the future) to the map.
I will generate the layers and populate them  at runtime. The number of layers changes based on user input so it must be at runtime.

I've experimented a bit with it but haven't had any success yet. Is it possible?

Hi David and Alexey,

Yes, the map control allows to bind a collection of layers. I have attached a small example. I hope this gets you started properly.
