INSTALLATION AND UPGRADING
Installation instructions and notes can be found in the download. Please, review them carefully before installing or upgrading. The upgrade process is similar to previous r.a.d.editor for SharePoint. You can find them online here (ignore the version numbers).

Please, submit your feedback through the beta forum.
If trial keys are needed to test r.a.d.controls Q2 2006 for SharePoint™ on a URL other than http://localhost, the telerik support team can supply you with such upon request to betasupport@telerik.com. Please, mention the URL and the domain/intranet name where the product will be tested.

I've downloaded and installed this and the new 6.5.2 editor appears when editing a rich text item in the list.
However, I received one error message during the installation:
Error: The copying of this file failed: RadControls/Grid/Skins/WebBlue/Filter.gif
RadWebParts.cab: Operation completed with errors.
What are the implications of this?

Hello Jerzy,
It seems the installer was unable to copy one of the images for a r.a.d.grid skin. Since the r.a.d.grid part is not active in the Beta release, this will have absolutely no effect on the r.a.d.editor or the navigation web parts.

i have downloaded the beta, but when i expand the zip file i am only presented with three files. the rad web parts cab, ows_patch.js, and the rad editor help file. is this correct for the new controls beta?

These three files should be enough if you want to test the new web parts. The installation instructions are inside the help file.
