Hi Olexandr,

Based on the provided information, I am not sure under what circumstances is the issue present. Could you elaborate more on what is the connection between the web link and the MediaPlayer widget?

Also, could you examine the live demos and let me know in case I could replicate the defect there? Here is an example of a video that starts with the sound turned on:

https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/mediaplayer/index

In case the issue persists, it would be very helpful if you could provide a sample that I could investigate locally.

I tried to reproduce error at local and prepare demo project but I could not do it. Always sound and play immediately.
But if I try to open link using using work version I got error:  Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: play() failed because the user didn't interact with the document first.  Thanks

Hi Olexandr,

Could you provide more information on what is the environment in which you are performing the tests? In case you are using Google Chrome with version newer than 66, you might have to change its settings. The same has already been discussed in the following StackOverflow article:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49930680/how-to-handle-uncaught-in-promise-domexception-play-failed-because-the-use

Also, could you open the MediaPlayer in a different browser and examine the console?
