Hello,

So recently I built a Note gathering application.  It stores comments about different topics.  In that way it is very similar to this forum.  I am wondering how you guys are managing attachments in this forum.

Specifically, I am wondering what the best way to store and display images and file attachments in a silverlight forum-lke application.  As it is right now I am gathering information with a RadRichText Box, and displaying the comments in read only RadRichText boxes arranged in a RadTreeListView.  That is all working pretty well.  I allow users to add and edit comments as well.

Now what is the best way to handle attachments and images?

Thanks for any help,
Adam

Hello Adam,

Handling attachments and images would depend on how you store your data on the server. What we can offer you is an upload control, which is capable of uploading any files to the back end server or storing them into database. You can see an online gallery example with the RadUpload control here. This example also shows how to display the image, after it has been uploaded.

Please let us know if you have further questions on this matter.
