Hi Darren,
We are closely monitoring the Cordova releases and we plan to update the latest supported Cordova version in AppBuilder in one of our next updates. We tend to release on every 6-8 weeks so stay tuned.
Can you share more details about your need to use the newest version of Cordova? Is there a bug that has been fixed in any of the core plugins? If that's the case there is a way to take the newest version of the plugin source code and use it.

This bug is rather problematic for us

Hi Jonas,
We plan to updated to the latest version of Cordova for our next major release - v2.2. Our current target for it is the first half of June.
I have also investigated the issue that you have linked to and it seems that we can apply a patch to our existing Cordova 3.2 infrastructure to fix this issue. Do you think this will work for you or you want to wait for the official Cordova update in AppBuilder?

Hello Jonas,
We have applied a patch to our implementation of Cordova 3.2 that should take care of this issue. You can rebuild your app to try it out.
